Getting older and enjoying cooking programs and making grocery lists

I never did this when I was in my 20s. I hated cooking programs. Now I love watching them and I always write or google the recipes. I like simple recipes. Is that a sign of getting older?

Do you watch Almazan Kitchen on Youtube? It’s AMAZEBALLS.

It’s great to get cooking tips on shows. I don’t think the age matters. Maybe it’s just a new hobby/interest

I used to love cooking, in my early twenties. We lived in an apartment with a pretty big kitchen, with lots of easily accessible storage and tons of counter space. I miss that kitchen.

My current kitchen is pretty small. Super crowded, very little counter space, very crowded storage. Cooking is a pain in the butt, now.

I think I’ll like cooking again, at least somewhat, when we someday move out and have a better kitchen. This current kitchen is just too cramped.

But like @LilyoftheValley said, I don’t think it has to do with age. Just interests changing over time.

I love Iron Chef America and the original Japanese one.

I am okay in the kitchen.

Age really does not matter. Your skills can be as simple as toasting a poptart or creating a three course meal.

Enjoy cooking. I know I do.
