My dad has approved me getting a tortoise. I want a tortoise because they live long and are super cute.

That’s cool. A friend of mine is into turtles and built a little pond in his yard for them.

Nice! We will have an outside pen for him and an inside pen. He will stay mostly in the inside pen but will go outside when its nice.
It’s going to be a hermmans tortoise so he wont get too terribly big.

You should name him after one of the Ninja Turtles!
I wonder what kind of habitat they live in. Do you buy a little living area for them at the pet store or something? What do they eat?

Most eat vegetables like leafy greens, and we are building a tortoise box for him/her to live in.
