I might be getting a new pet in a few months, I want a crested gecko,
my partner finally agreed to it and my in laws are thinking about it. the selling point for these little guys is they don’t require every day feeding of bugs they just need some repashy or pangea diet food. they also don’t need a heat lamp or uvb light.
those eyes, and i love its skin color and that little grin on its face

I’ve thought about getting one and my partner loves them but I have to think what is happiest for the animal, I don’t think I could keep a sulcata happy since the whole backyard is covered with a pool, a shed, a playhouse and then dogs. sorry @Reggie, but seriously LOL. the tortoise racing could be a great racket to get into.
I had a friend that let his loose in the apartment. He lived off roaches!
I’ve heard a story once of a lady who accidently let hers out and found it a year later in her shower. it lived off the bugs in her house for that entire year.

I luckily have a few acres that my 4 dogs can share with little Ninja. But i got about a decade until he needs to be outside year around so ill probably have 10 more dogs by then. My tortoise can lead the pack of dogs!! That would be funny to see one play fetch with the dogs!! Lol
