This is like me worst nightmare. I cannot handle dishes stacked in a sink. I would rather have them strewn across all my counters than attached in the sink so the sink is useless.

It is time for me to dump the recycled trash. I wanted to see just how much recycling I do, so I stacked the trash on my kitchen table for a while. The pile is 42 inches high. That’s 3 1/2 feet high. Holy crap !
Yep, we do seem to recycle a lot these days.

This is like my sink! Except I have more dishes lol. I’ve even debating buying one of those counter top dishwashers for 400 dollars so I could avoid hand washing all of them. Let’s compare dish piles!

Mines not as bad as it looks! We keep our glass recycling on counter behind our sink so it looks a lot worse.

The landlord provided us with a big sturdy bag to store and transport the recycled stuff.

no, yours looks better than mine at the moment I think. I noticed the recycling. I got the worst of mine done this morning. I was mia (slept most of the day) yesterday so things went a little haywire in the kitchen. Somebody decided to soak the casserole pan and then put dirty dishes in the water on top of it. Yuck!. But I got all that scrubbed and cleaned. Then I got the pots and pans done. so the hard stuff is done. I suppose I will do the rest later when I start thinking about what I’m going to do about dinner for my boys.

OMG this is the absolute WORST! and also why my plates and bowls are sitting in the side of the sink and not in the sink. THE WORST! What kind of monsters are you living with?!?!

I just checked and the big blue recycling bin looked worse than my kitchen table and was way overloaded.
So I will have to wait till tomorrow. All I could throw out was the regular garbage. Oh well, I got something done.

ikr, omg I was like what the hell happened in the kitchen? My teenaged son said it’s not that bad. I was thinking it’s the worst case scenario. I had to put my hand/arm in that to let the water out, YUCK! But this thread inspired me to completely scrub everything in the kitchen, so now I’m all set to make a fabulous dinner for those monters lol

I normally don’t make many dishes. But I have a compulsive need to clean them otherwise I get scared of bugs. Like really scared of bugs like to the point that I can’t sleep because I’ll think bugs got in my house because of it
