Doing the dishes

I think I’m going to start doing the dishes after every meal, or at least every day, so they don’t pile up. I’m getting better at doing them than I was before though.

How often do you do the dishes? Do you have a dishwasher or do you do it by hand?

I do it by hand after every meal.

I’ve been doing the dishes after most every meal. Some hand washing, but mostly loading the dishwasher.

I at least try to make sure there are no dishes left overnight. This hasn’t always been the case.

It feels good to wake up to a clean kitchen.

Yeah you feel better if things are clean around you.

I try to do it by hand after every meal.
Sometimes I get too “lazy” and I do them later.

Right now I have a dishwasher. I try to keep it unloaded so I can always have room to put dirty dishes in it so they don’t pile up in the sink.

Pots and pans I try to do be the end on the day every day. Sometimes I’ll reuse a pan before washing it, though. Like, if I just made a quesadilla or toast in a skillet or fries in the oven, I’ll just leave them sitting on the stove because they aren’t really “dirty” in my head. Maybe I’m just gross, though.:joy:

I’m handwashing my dishes. And I’ve also been thinking to do the dishes right after eating. But there are days when I’m drunk and can’t be arsed to do so, ha!

Twice a day. Sometimes 3 times.

Haven’t done the dishes in two weeks.

Will start doing mine, and others, again from tomorrow since I’ll have the willpower to, on my special 28 day diet.

I don’t have a dishwasher. When my countertops and stove need to be cleaned, I put them in soapy water. I clean the stove and countertops and leave the dishes. I try to always rinse them off, after I use them.
