I don’t know why I stay Friends with these God and Jesus people
Demons and sinning
I think schools are more sensitive these days
to varying orientations
but some people don’t like it
well too bad

but it can be fun letting them know how off they are.
yeah, remember when Obama lit up the White House
in rainbow colors
What’s the main purpose of our species???
is that a trick question?
I’m no philosopher.
OOps your question has a hidden message
Do you have the answer to that question?
No the point of our species is to reproduce
Nobody should be angry at someone for simply existing, and that’s what it boils down to once everybody agrees it’s not a choice.
What pisses me off is when people pretend to be okay with gays by saying “I respect your lifestyle choices”.
Being gay is not a choice, nor a lifestyle. Veganism is a lifestyle choice, because you can stop being a vegan at any time, but while you’re a vegan, it takes up a lot of space in your existence. Being gay is no something people can stop, nor should it define them.
I went to church once, after I felt like nobody wanted me around for being bi. I’d grown up in a very conservative christian town, so after we moved, I wanted to hear what the church there thought about those who didn’t follow the narrow path of self-righteousness.
I sat in the back, and the priest starting talking about how there was a place in heaven for everyone, and that we were all loved and wanted.
It made me feel a whole lot better, and it proved to me that not all christians are ready to burn you at the stake if you don’t comply their rules.
It has become my existence, by having kids
but certainly we find our own purpose without.
I grew up in the church (charismatic movement thats a topic in itself) so for me it’s not right to be gay but I don’t judge others
So you’re just a mode of transport for the DNA in your sperm?
This is probably the most reductionistic and nihilistic way of understanding life that I can think of.
Being gay is not the same as being sterile. I’d throw some insults directed at your level of understanding in there, but I don’t think they’re needed.
I disagree.
Sure, one of the goals of our species is to reproduce.
But luckily, we’re an intelligent species that doesn’t exist for the sole purpose of reproducing, unlike fruitflies.
We have large brains, opposable thumbs, and pleasant vocal chords. This makes us able to not only obtain information, but share it with others as well.
We’ve evolved beyond living using only our instincts, and we’ve become a species that are able to analyze our behaviours, modify them, and change our habits.
Some people have strong reproductive instincts still, some don’t.
Our instincts also tell us to stay out of the dark, close to fire, and fight or flee if attacked, but it doesn’t mean we should listen to them all the time.
Sure, I’ve had urges to reproduce in the past, but I’m a human, and with my human brain I was able to fight off those instincts. After all, it’s selfish to have a child just because your brain tells you to have one.
By the way, the purpose of reproduction is the survival of our species. Not the other way around. You were probably told this in school, but failed to comprehend it. And homosexuality and bisexuality are so common and seen in so many species, that the logical conclusion is that these traits contribute to the survival of the human species.
I am still here, and I’m devoted to church. In Belgrade, being gay is hard, but the people get more aware of LGBTQ community. Also, gay people are encouraged by gay prime minister to live normally and show themselves in public.Church is against it hardly, and there are lot of protesters when gay pride is held, and streets are blocked with police.I my self was anti gay,but my opinion has changed when I saw how many gay people were living in shadow of fear. So,no matter what church say,i have compassion for LGBTQ community
my post was flagged, you people are way too sensitive
egg shells
I do too. I’m just saying that the way I was brought up I choose differently for myself. But I definitely do not judge others.
