Finally that ■■■■■■■■ is over.
About 30 million souls in the states just got uplifted and are finally free to pursue their dreams of legally recognized partnerships and commitments.

The Nazi’s definitely didn’t win the war.
Love wins!!!
There have been gays before there was marriage.
My uncle had to overcome a lot of discrimination and had to get a new job when discovered.
But I think it should be called something different, marriage had been man and woman for millennia.
I’ve heard Gayarriage in the media.
I still think marriage should be a legal protection for the children created.
It used to help woman too, who were dumped when the next best thing came along.
But when gays start cooking up children, I just don’t think this is what nature intended.
Marriage is a legal binding that offers all sorts of benefits and protections. Between the people involved and their children.
I’m glad they’re calling it marriage.
If you think the construct of marriage is doing anything for kids… well look at the families below the poverty line. The father bails, preferring to pay or not pay child support.
My parents were married and got divorced.
Gay couples should be allowed to adopt all these excess children the heteros keep accidentally pumping out and leaving behind.
and its one of the most anti-feminist institutions there is. Giving the woman claim to 50% of the mans possessions upon divorce.
Even Fox News is celebrating right now!
Okay I tried posting the video but it isn’t showing up.
Definitely… 15 characters
Shows how wishy washy they can be trying to please the people.
But it’s cool of them.
Exactly. Why should I give my bum of a husband 50 percent of the house he never put a penny towards?
Why did I support him when everyone said to throw him to the gutter?
So I did not interrupt the life of our Son with all that shared custody stuff.
This reminds me of Jurassic park lol
Heard a sad story about some guy who was in a long term relationship with another man. He fell off of a roof and died. They family then black balled his lover. Wouldn’t let him attend the funeral or even access the medical information of what happened. He had no legal rights, those days are gone.
Yes there are sad stories like that.
But sadder still is that by a vote of 5-4 the supreme court wiped out the votes of states to not recognize it.
So 9 people courts can overule the legal votes of millions of people?
This is scary stuff.
Civil liberties should be a federal issue… but that’s just my opinion. To think someone can gain or loose major rights just for crossing a state line doesn’t seem right to me.
People’s religious views and subtle discomfort with the presence of homosexuals shouldn’t be keeping people down.
Within a decade their might be a stronger gay presence about, but it’s not going to affect anyone’s inborn tendencies.
Essence of liberty is equality.
The heteronormative crowd owes it to the gays for all the ■■■■ they have to put up with
Lets agree to disagree.
This stuff like religion should not be debated on this forum. help @shutterbug
The point still stands. It’s none of their business it doesn’t affect them or their way of life. I don’t care if they are religious or not.
I’m gay, and in a long term relationship. We live in a state that already had gay marriage so we’ve been planning on it for a while but we are waiting until Kay gets her cna training done. I was told I could lose my Medicaid and SSI if I get married.
I think that depends on your spouses income and such.
