So I went ahead and did some further digging. I found this human informative video. This is a huge relief since I didn’t know what the hell was going on in my brain.
This could probably apply to screen time in general. I love these condensed and very precise points especially I’d like to emphasize part where he talks about boredom, and that the boredom and lack of any meaningful activity is what often spells the trouble for us.
Not really different but I am 34 days sober from the beer. Finding a meaningful activity to replace my alcohol habit really strengthened my resolve to stay away from raising the can to my lips.

Hey that’s awesome news. And thank you kindly for encouragement
I love the attitude of people who look at these past issues as misfortune rather than affliction they are trying to escape. For example saying that you are no longer doing those things rather than identifying as “ex this or that” is very liberating mindset allowing to have more freedom over your life. No ex identity no haunting of the past.
Today I also learned that it’s important to create these distinctions in recognizing that any future nostalgia that might arise is in fact just nostalgia and shouldn’t be identified as anything else. We can overcome notion of nostalgia much more easy until later time takes it’s own course.
