I used to spend about the equivalent of $50 a month on the lottery. I gave it up and haven’t played all this year.

But the desire is still there. I’d quit gambling while you can. It can be addictive.

All that dreaming about big money is just fool’s gold.

lol, i remembered just now an old psychologist with his pipe, that asked me if i’m a gambler, a sort of

I was very very irritated, i dislike games, but i was thinking for a few seconds to speak out loud and clear : Yes.

It was the duke of a one year lasting therapy in the middle of nowhere.

Its not a delusion but the odds are generally against you in terms of winning big.

Yeah it is something like a delusion. Combo of risk taking, impulse, irrational decision, fantasy.

If you are certain you are going to win big when, logically, the odds are against you, yes, I would call it something of a delusion.

As the old addage goes “The House Always Wins” .

I only place free bets, some sites here in the uk gives you. And win small amounts now and again.

That and a postcode lottery for a ÂŁ a week, that i did actually win on after years.

Just dont put too much faith in them. But i wouldnt call it a delusion, maybe an element of Greed?

This is how I gamble

But its a serious issue for me too.

I had taken a lottery and was calculating the expense before even winning. Those wee the days.

Thing is. I believe if i meditate on it while playing i will win. Kind of like mind control i suppose.

That’s one way to blame the meditation…lol
I would call gambling an addiction…false beliefs.
