This will make me sound evil but

I’m sorry but it still pisses me off that I helped my cousin to get disability and she blows every penny on the lottery. How else does she win £300 a week. I need to not let it get to me, but it does. I guess I’m envious she gets more for support and blows it playing the lottery. Here you dont’ get disability based on diagnosis. She has anxiety. But I guess it effects her more…

On the other hand, it might be related to something she’s struggling with. I don’t know.

i doubt shes really winning.

how much does she have to pay the lottery to get regular wins. the system isn’t set up that way.

she might say it to justify her habit.

If she’s regularly winning £300 here and there, she must be playing more than she claims.

i think lotteries should be illegal.

i know so anti-choice. but i think its like casinos and cigarettes.

regulate it so people dont self harm.

gambling is an addiction, maybe you can ask her if she thinks she has a gambling problem?

she definitely does… but she’s gonna flip if I ask… there’s lots of support out there, but she needs to be willing to accept the help./

I tried making a “living” gambling and then I realized I was not gonna win I gave it a shot and won ■■■■■■■ I wish I could win I lose a lot more than I win

She is likely doing more than just the lottery.

I have gambled slot in the past. It sounds like she is doing slots and scratch cards online casinos.

She will be loosing much more than what she is winning.

Personally I banned myself from all UK gambling sites cos it was getting too much for me. It’s a serious addiction.

thats impossible. its just goes underground. people do it anyway. other people supply the need. and then people get arrested and put in jail for stupid stuff like smoking. it would be like all the marijuana arrests on steroids

I was making a little bit of money on the Oklahoma scratch off lottery, but then that went bad. I was starting to see how gambling could become addictive, so I quit messing with the lottery altogether.

I’ve never considered gambling as a viable way to make money. You may get lucky a few times, but the odds are not in your favor. I knew some people on disability that went to the casinos regularly. They were always in the hole. I’ll do mega millions or Arkansas scholarship lottery and go for the hundred millions every now and then. It’s basically impossible to win, but they’re a dollar and you could become a hundred millionaire lol.

And if you don’t win you’re still supporting Arkansas education.

Yeah I forgot about that, but have considered it in the past.

Gambling, just like substance misuse and addiction in general can’t be a good thing.

Slowly, depending on how multicapable you are - it’ll negative impact your other activities even things that appear small and simple like sleep
