Funny story from my childhood about football

I was in the sixth grade and played the position of center for the team on the offense…that’s the guy who hikes the ball to the quarterback…anyways…the coach said, “alright we are going to run through this play in slow motion” so I started imagining that I should hike the ball in slow motion too…the quarterback kept saying “hike !! hike !!” but the ball in slow motion didn’t get to him in time every time for like 3 plays so the coach tried to stand in front of me to see why the ball was having so much trouble getting to the quarterback on “hike” and found me hiking the ball in slow motion…haha my team hated me…it was the only season that I played football…haha

Hah hah! Hey at least you tried the sport and realized it wasn’t for you. Did you try any other sports? I wasn’t into sports growing up. We played badminton as a family which I grew to tolerate, but I was the one in a little corner reading fictionary literature and building tree forts.

yes, later in high school I played soccer…was pretty good too…

in the 2nd grade I was terrorized by my baseball coach…he expected way too much out of us kids and would yell at us all the time…never liked baseball since then…

I like soccer! My nephews were soccer players in middle school and high school. It was an easy sport to understand. Football just has so many rules.
