Man, we ran our asses off, and it was a great game usually…miss soccer…did you play any sports growing up?

I need to make a post about this, but why do americans love to play soccer while growing up and later they don´t enjoy it on TV?
oh I beg to differ…I love watching soccer…more than any other sport…no cable though so I never get to anymore.

Yeah, I went out for high school soccer one year. I was no good but all those drills and running got me in the best shape of my life.

I understand what you are saying. Soccer is very enjoyable to play. Especially if you are gifted with running fast. I get bored with watching soccer. But I still love the game.
the best game I ever played I was drunk on everclear and punch they had in the van on the way to the game…everyone was saying I was so much better when I drank…I was a weird prodromal dude in my teens…anyways…I got on the field and I saw the other team getting the ball near me and I stole the ball from them and kick dribbled it down the field, an opposing team member ran at me and I bumped him down nearly running him over, did a somersalt and landed on my feet , running as fast as I can…my team mate the best man to have the ball yelled for me to kick the ball to him and I didn’t , I stopped and tried to kick the ball in myself…dumb for the team but felt great…the goalie just caught the ball and it was all over…haha…an older man came up to ask if he could shake my hand.

I only scored one goal as a kid. I just wasn’t into it. I used to pick dandelions in the soccer field during the games.

@Mars that was the way I was at baseball and football…one time when I played center for the only season of football I played, the coach told us to do the play in slow motion…the quarterback said, “Hike !” and so watching six million dollar man when he was in slow motion I hiked the ball in slow motion…“hike, hike HIKE !:” the quarterback was yelling…it took too hikes before the coach said, "wait a minute. ok, Mike, hike the ball…I did it in slow motion…he just laughed and shook his head, and said, “Mike, I"ve never seen anything that funny in a long time”…the team rolled over me the next day at lunch time, they knocked me down and then all of them ran , or rolled over my body…hurt like hell…while I was trying to catch my breath, they said, “stay off the team !”

Played hockey. Started in my twenties. Loved it so much. Now I couldn’t imagine playing. I’m 52

Played Soccer with my friends in sixth form college (USA is called high school)
used to play almost everyday. I miss football a lot.

I wish i played baseball growing up i did one season of football and i hated it sprinting around with all those pads on was not fun but i enjoy watching football
