I had a pdoc appointment today. They can’t do anything about my symptoms until I got the blood work done. The pdoc blamed my case manager but I said it was my fault too. I got the bloodwork done though then got another call from the clinic: my current therapist is being transferred to another clinic so once again I’m getting a new therapist.
That is always tough getting new doctors.
This will be the third therapist I’ve gotten now since starting back at that clinic in the past year
That is tough. Hang in there.
When I started off at the mental health center I go to I had a therapist I really liked. Then he got transferred to another office and I went through a whole succession of therapists who, for one reason or other, didn’t stick around. I am finally with another one that I like now. I hope she sticks around.
When I was younger the County Services for mental health was often a stepping stone for aspiring therapists. This meant that they’d stay for about 2 years then move on to an employer with better pay. I hated losing my therapists each time.
The first therapist I had from January till about may then this one from June to January of this year
