Microsoft is actually turning out to be pretty cool. Hopefully windows 10 is streamlined and efficient.
Im on windows 7 and hate windows 8. Think Ill upgrade to 10 and try it out when its available. If I dont like it then Ill re-install 7. Windows 9 is already old news? It didnt make much of an impact.
All microsoft OS and most MS products should be avoided until service pack 2 are released for them. That’s my experience at anyrate.
Good point. Still its free and looks to be a balance between the different approaches they tried recently with windows. It will probably have comparability issues with some of the older software I use. Vista and 8 are terrible about working with older games. Anyways its worth looking into.
Mostly driver issues with older games especially graphic drivers. Win 8 I managed to get dosbox running. So was very happy. With a new OS you will have to wait umm like umm a year for graphic drivers to catch up anyway… Just the rabbit and tortoise story with technology. Mind you! Not sure what we are up to but if you go by MS’s track record. Every second OS from MS is a failure. .
Yeah Ive settled on windows 7. Its the most like xp. I will keep an open ear about windows 10. Maybe MS can break the trend.
