There is this attitude that sex is freedom
You pay with dreams and of course it’s a lot of fun and then you get deselected by society anyway as hore not breeding but just for fun
And so it’s used up youth
WHile waiting for the one you get abused and turn down the non exciting friendly guys who could have saved you from drugs and booze and cigs and self harm
The west
What’s so great about it?
Sex probably is over rated. It strikes me that true sexual freedom includes the right to say no, just as much as it includes the right to say yes. As much as I hate it, most people regard a person’s sexuality as being in the public domain. I insist on believing that my sex life is my business and no one else’s.
That’s great crimby
I think I’m too old and have not have had the sexting and photo sharing thing
I have body dysmorphic disorder BDD
I think this is normal for teenagers now, but not when I was younger
Generally this doesn’t happen. If you’re for instance an alcoholic then it doesn’t matter who your partner is. It’s difficult to save someone from themselves.
It’s a nice dream though.
Okay I get that
But friendly boring people used to throw themselves at my sisters feet
They would have done anything for her but she wanted a different kind and just got more abuse
And without the one to validate me
Without true love
I was in storm of self hatred not thinking I was good enough and smoking 60 cigs a day as a conscious suicide
And yet they say: “You Only Live Once”
It is like saying “I’m so clever, I smoke because smoke kills!”
Pop culture raises people’s standards to unreasonable levels, which reduces the average relationship length and raises the average number of partners a person has. People are going after the above-average looks depicted in mass media, and not settling for less until it’s too late.
I have struggled in certain ways with sexual feelings, for a long time. It’s personal. I think there are a few things better than sex, like music. And friendship.
