Does anyone know if forgetting to take abilify like 3 or 4 days a week for a couple of weeks is that bad?
My sleep schedule has been crazy this couple of weeks and I forget very often to take my night pill.
Should I worry? Since I’m conscious of it now I’m starting to take it regularly from now on…
I’m getting a bit paranoid about having psychosis again. Maybe is just because some days I sleep less than usual and I feel weird. Don’t know.
Just remember to take them from now on bro. I doubt you can do anything about it now.

I’ve been not sure I’ve been taking it too. Every day. Recently. Cos sometimes I take it at noon. Sometimes in evening. Recently. That’s not good. I get confused. Are u taking it around same time, daily.
Have u ever considered abilify injections ?
My mom tried getting me into the pill box routine. I can’t do it. I don’t like it. I just try to remember taking my pills every day. Sometimes I forget or mess up, but it’s rare. I don’t know. I can’t plan ahead and I’m lazy.
You know, like plan out your pills a week or month at a time. I am very hesitant. Some say it works.

Yes dude exactly what’s been happening to me. I forget a few days in a row here and there and it adds up. I started having voices again. Luckily I was able to get them to stop after a few days of having a double dose (I usually only take 5mg but I’m prescribed 10)
!!fyi in not suggesting you take double the prescribed amount. I usually just take half my prescribed amount that’s why I upped it to the recommended!!
Or else you get the syringe again 
if I dont take meds for two days I feel like I am beginning to relapse. If you can take a picture of the meds you are taking it might have a time and date to help you keep track.

@POET thanks. Don’t worry I won’t take double dose. But it’s scary that you started with voices again. I kinda started with paranoid thoughts, but very mild ones.

I use a medication reminder app on my phone. It goes off every 10 minutes until I mark that I took it.
When i don’t take my abilify during one week After i have a Bad sleep during one week and After i have a psychisis After 3 weeks or 3 months After. I was not serious with my treatment of abilify pills and now i have abilify 400 dépôt it’s better for me.
Usually it takes about a week to ten days of not taking Abilify to ramp up the manic symptoms— irritability, restlessness, increase in positive symptoms… It’s not a good look.
I’ve found it helps to keep meds right next to the bed with a glass of water for easy access.
Pill boxes are also good, too.

@anon92321969 although it’s a good idea, I have people checking my phone some times. So it’s a no for me.
@frenchman I never considered depot. But I cannot do it at the moment (I live in a foreign country and whatnot)
@Schztuna there are people coming to my place and, as bad as it sounds, I would be ashamed of them knowing me taking crazy pills.

@frenchman @Schztuna the problem with pill boxes is not that I forget if I took it or not, it’s that I forget to take it until next morning. Sometimes I was too cozy in bed to care about it. Both of this are not gonna happen more for the time beeing.
Easy enough mistake to make. Set alarm on phone to remind you. Or if its too much, ask Doc if you can have the depot instead.
Im fortunate to have the wife nagging in my ear, so its impossible Id miss a dose haha
I set alarms on my phone plus I have a pill box and I make sure I log in the times I took my meds on my phone afterward
Even if I miss my diabetes meds I make sure I don’t forget APs.
