10,000 steps = 8km = 6.2 miles (ideal)
7,500 steps = 6km = 3.7 miles (above average)
5,000 steps = 4km = 2.5 miles (average)

I’ve done 8,000+ steps or 6+km in one running session in an hour’s time.

Love that reaction, it’s mine too, I rarely hit target but I will do about five thousand on a good day!

I always go by time rather than steps. After that, it is what i feel i can accomplish.

I try for 2 walks a week at about 45 minutes each.

Usually the time is set at 30 minutes or 1 hour. The variable will be speed & distance. The faster you walk/jog, the more calories are burned.
