Do you track your steps?

I decided to start counting my steps. I’ve done 2000 this morning already. Another walk this afternoon should put it up more.

If you count your steps how many steps on average do you do per day ?

Thanks.

I decided to get fit so bought a cheap fitness tracker.

I usually do 20, 000 a day. My baseline is 11,500 which I mostly do these days jogging on the spot. It’s so healthy for you and so addictive when you get into it in a healthy way!

Quiet day today …I strive for 20,000 most days!

Wow that’s a lot. Do you jog on the spot in your house ? I might try that.

Yes. Took a bit to work up to it but it helps. I usually go for a 3km or plus run through day as well. Today was a bit light as I only jogged 1.5 kms…Regular is good!

I don’t. But I do go on the treadmill and the elliptical. I go for 30 minutes and do HIIT training on them. After that I’m wiped out. I don’t go places really so I don’t get a lot of steps outside my daily workout

I go by time.

although my phone does track steps anyhow.

I don’t pay too much attention to the step count though

My Galaxy watch 3 tracks steps. Tho its only 1444 at the moment. Im still getting used to it - Im using it more as a calorie counter and stress level meter , hopefully to up my weight.

What apps do you use on it for stress and counting calories.

Just the Samsung Health app built into the watch linked to my galaxy s10. I add what food ive eaten - and its quite good, it calculates the calorries say from a waitrose fish pie on the list - and compares it to how many calories ive burnt walking about.

You add your weight, hieght, age etc and it does your bmi.

Currently 10 stone - and wanna get upto 13.
