Couple of questions that have a few of us members curious.
Do you think the flagging system is sometimes abused?
Do you think abuse of the flagging system is ignored?
I can’t say that it’s abused as it’s a good system to have. And this forum has a great set of Mods and from what I’ve seen they are usually happily on top of things.
i think certain things are triggering so something that is innocent can sometimes be perceived as being provocative
As I’ve said many times: No, the flagging system isn’t abused. I could probably count how many times I’ve seen a post be hidden because of the flag threshold on one hand, and they’ve all been legitimate flags. We only very rarely receive flags that were meant to annoy/hurt someone, and in those cases, the post does not get hidden.
If a post is hidden, assume it was either the system algorithms or a mod that decided to hide it.
