I was able to schedule my consultation with the speech pathologist the same day, just earlier, as the modified barium swallow. Which means I only have to make one trip on the highway out of town. This is really making me happy right now. I go next Wednesday. Then I can find out what is going on with my throat.

My 5mg risperidone makes me choke on food, fluids and saliva. It was much worse on 6mg as I was choking in my sleep and couldn’t breath when I wokeup.

good luck i hope you find out what is going on
my brother for probably 10 years now cant eat certain foods cause he chokes on them
he went to an ahooooole medical doctor who told him to loose weight
not only is he skinny but he runs every day
i hope you get a good doctor and it works out

Good luck with it. Throat things are scary I have had random throat issues that passed.
