It’s been a long while but under this medication I am starting to feel like a human being. I think straight at least half the time, experience some emotions and are doing things instead of sitting all day. Therapy three days a week and better meds. I don’t think I am capable of working yet but maybe in a few months I’ll tackle isolation and want to be with people. CBT and psycho dynamic therapy, meditation, exercise, diets and a good combination of meds. Can anyone share in the success?
Way to go, Orange!..
You’ve come a long way in such a short span of time!
That’s amazing orange! Really happy for you! Recovery is possible
I think smart people recover faster…mainly because they listen and pay attention.
Stubborn Bozos like me take a little longer to grasp the concepts of recovery. My hubris and pride get in the way sometimes.
I don’t think I am necessarily smarter than most, just more persistent. I think that is one of characteristics of recovery persistency.
Hah!..
But you’re smart enough to stay persistent! So we’re both right i suppose.
lol, I think my son is one of those Stubborn Bozos. Hope it clicks with him someday!
Glad things are getting better… it’s a lot of work… but it’s worth it…
It sounds like you’ve hit all the points…
That is the same list I’m living on too.
hey orange can i take a bite of u…

I think your needle is stuck, @far_cry0.
ha ha it will defiantly find a hole… @Patrick…
I meant it like when the old vinyl record albums would get stuck and skip on your stereo.
But your reply was amusing just the same!
Hey @Patrick how are you?
I, too, have recently noticed moments of being emotional. It is a real breakthrough for us when this happens.
my problem is being a little too emotional, but I do isolate myself and do nothing all day.
WAY TO GO ORANGE!
Hi @sleepybug…
I’m good! Just took a break from this site for a while to try some mainstream messageboards. It didn’t work out so I came scurrying back to this forum.
Hope all is well with you!
