Feeling tired on Abilify

I feel really tired. I think it is a side effect of Abilify. I’m really exhausted. I sleep a lot though but still feel wasted. I was walking every other day and was feeling fine. So, I might have to resume this. I have to combat this feeling since it affects my outlook. I thought I was depressed but have no sadness. I realize Abilify is making me tired. I like exercising but it takes time. I am lazy now so will try to break out of this. I am working still. Does anybody else feel tired with Abilify? What do you do to overcome this feeling?

I am on 400mg of injectable Abilify and exercise on my treadmill everyday almost. I don’t think it is Abilify but the person within us that will motivate us todo things. But that’s my opinion.

Thanks for all of your replies. I’m on the pill form. I used to be on the shot but it is not available here unless I go to a board and care facility. It may be my hormones then. Lol, I am at the age to be in menopause. I feel better knowing it is not Abilify. I am exercising now.

I also feel tired, but I’m on Invega. I guess that’s what aps can do.

I’m on Abilify Maintena 300 mg monthly and I feel tired, too… (etc.) I hope that new medications such as SEP-363856 will be better.

I had extreme fatigue when I was on Amisulpride and later on the combo of Olanzapine and Amisulpride. I took magnesium 100mg, Vb12 and CoQ10. These supplements really help with the fatigue.

I slept a lot on 15mg abilify, probably because getting up was difficult. I realised i couldn’t continue drinking coffee because it was making the waking up more difficult. During the day it was ok and 10mg was not as bad.

I’m trying suntheanine and copper as my 5mg of abilify turned sedative from activating.

I used to take 5mg of Abilify but I don’t think it ever made me tired.

It very individually who gets tired on a sudden meds. For example I got tired on perphenazine, risperdone, clozapine but not on Clopixol or Seroquel. I must say that I really do admire you for keeping a job under those conditions.
