Talk to your tutor and tell them your situation they might be able to help
I’m glad you’re getting in touch with your doctor tomorrow.
Don’t hesitate going to the ER if you are out of control.
We are here for you also.
school isn’t as important as taking care of yourself…extenuating circumstances like this most likely will be considered if you are suicidal. please take care of yourself.
The college has policies whereby if you had to quit due to illness you could come back they do in uk anyway
please go get help. it is very hard to live with thows feelings. the desperation and all that. there is a way out some were. you need to keep loocking and try to help your self. pleas suicide its a tragedy
If you die you won’t be able to go to school either. If you have to choose between dealing alone with overwhelming suicidal thoughts while trying to go to school, and getting help then it’s better to get help. You can possibly go back to school. You can’t come back to life.
Glad you have a plan
Keep us posted
Just an update I called my pdoc and have an appointment in just a few minutes. Sitting in the waiting room now. I also spoke to the crisis center today and I might go in after work today they seemed really helpful. Waking up suicidal is never a great way to start a morning.
Hanna, I’m so happy you got help! I think you’re younger if I’m not mistaken, but you’ve shown amazing maturity keeping yourself safe and reaching out to the crisis team and your pdoc. I’m very proud of you.
Suicide isn’t an answer, I know you know that. I get suicidal sometimes too but would never actually go through with it, I just get the feelings. I admire how you kept your cool and got good help.
Glad you are out there looking for help, hope you get all the help you need
My psychiatrist added lithium to my mix of drugs along with another 20 mg of Geodon to take in the evening before my 120mg dose. Still contemplating going to the crisis center after work today.
No harm can come from you going
The community colleges I attended had a Disabled Student Services. They cater to the disabled and they helped me enroll in college and paid my registration fees. They helped me pick classes and made an “educational plan” for me which showed me exactly what classes I still need to graduate and they helped me choose a major.
They arrange accommodations for people such as taking exams in a room by yourself with no distractions or they arrange for you to have more time to take an exam like give you an hour or two longer than anyone else. They keep everything confidential so your classmates don’t have to know you are using their services.
At the college I’m enrolled in now the Disabled Services is in a big building and they have computers anyone can go on, workshops on how to succeed in college, counselors you can talk to with any issues you have. They also have rooms that are quiet that you can study in with help from counselors for you. They can get tutors for you and they have someone called an “Academic Coach” who will work with you one-on-one to help you succeed. I don’t know if your school has Disabled Student Service but you might want to look into it and see what they can do for you.
Please see a doctor immediately. I was having this problem some months ago and a Wellbutrin prescription turned my world around (for the better). These feelings are VERY treatable and you shouldn’t have to live with them.
Rooting for you.
