Fourth day on diet

Want to eat crap

I slept all day and will be awake all night. I’m hoping for something to happen. I don’t feel great.

I hope youre not eating too little but if its sustainable i think its okay. One of the reasons you may be feeling bad is because if youre used to eating a lot kf sugar and things like that you can actually become addicted. Once you stop eating junk food theres real withdrawl like from a drug. Your dopamine receptors go from overload to a lower level. The good thing is your brain adapts to it and returns to baseline after a while.

Also i think a lot if not most people eat emotionally. Its normal to lift yourself up once in a while with a treat but if theyre dependant on junkfood every day to feel generally happy they might be an emotional eater. If that is the case then the key is to deal with the root issues causing unhappiness. Maybe through therapy or talking with a friend to hear your own throughts outloud or someone to be a sounding board.

Tl;dr Could be hunger. Could be withdrawl, or deeper issue causing unhappiness

I think it’s withdrawal from junk food addiction. Yea

Thanks…

Maybe you should try taking a longer term approach. Keep a balanced diet, but cut out high calorie food here and there.

My sister was on some diet were she was able to eat Italian food, burgers and such. Instead of going on rabbit food and or that.

This isn’t an advertisement.

My sister has had weight problems from steroids and such since she was 13 when she was diagnosed with Lupus.

She is 42 now and during lockdown tried this diet.

She won awards for weight loss and such. She is slimmer than she has been in years.

I know it sounds like a promotion but it really isn’t. It worked for her. Honest to jaysus.

I ate a croissant this morning for breakfast/lunch.

My dad worries that I’m becoming anorexic.
I’ve lost 30 kg and watch my food intake.

However, my current BMI is 22. So, I’m still in the normal range. I think he’s being overly negative.
