I’m on the 3rd day of taking Lamictal and today I received no mood elevation after taking it.
Felt depressed all day today and have very little motivation!
Don’t know if this med is really working for depression.
But I also realize I’m on a very small dose right now.
I’ll give it some more time I guess.
I’m sorry. Hang in there. These things take time sometimes.

I had a friend who was on meds and got off. He said when he was depressed he prayed for self esteem. He also said, " analysis paralysis" a lot. ( He used to question things too much. )

My depression is getting worse now.
Hopefully it doesn’t get any deeper.
Don’t want to get suicidal on a holiday.
It’s difficult to get a hold of my doctor.
Do you have a psychiatric nurse who could forward the message to your doctor?

■■■■ I’m in bad shape.
Had intrusive thoughts of harming myself.
I’m stopping the Lamictal but I’m calling my psychiatrist first first thing tomorrow.
Ever since going on that med I’ve been cycling up then down.
Now I’ll probably have to go up on the Depakote dose to 2000 mg.
To hell with this disorder.
It never stops.
I tried not taking my ap’s for a couple of days this weekend, and I got intensely emotional because of it. For a while yesterday I was on an emotional hangover from not taking my med’s. It was very unpleasant.
