Fear of the end times

Does anyone else have this same fear and interpret everything as a meaning of the end of the world to come? For example, I read biblical prophecies and I’ll see an advertisement or hear a new song on the radio and believe it to be a sign of the end. It all stems from a fear of judgement day, not feeling prepared. Just wondering why all newer shows and movies are almost all referencing to the end of times, pretty scary to me but maybe I’m just exaggerating. Anyone else want to share some insight?

Nah, we’re gonna be around for like 100 more years before any of that stuff has a chance of happening. Everybody’s been itching for it since 1999 ticked over to 2000, I think they just have a hard time wrapping their heads around the number 2000 on a calendar. I really think it’s that simple. Oh no, the mileage rolled over, we’re all gonna die! It’s just a number. Not sure what was up with 2012 but that seems similar to me.

I had 3 delusions that were very intense end of the world delusions. I think it’s pretty common if someone is exposed to apocalypse judgement day stuff.

I wouldn’t worry about it, can’t change it even if it is ending so might as well party on.

Idk I worry about a war happening. The generation before mine was lucky. Maybe my generation will be lucky too, maybe not.

War is in our blood. Hopefully were evolving though.

I liked what an amateur philosopher said, something along the lines of “were no more advanced then the greeks 3000 years ago”.

The facts, just the facts ma’am

I knew the world was ending in 2014 because of the 4 blood moons and I maxed out all the money buying supplies
And when it didn’t happen I started studying really hard about prophecy and I still think we are in the end times but a few things need to happen still
But the rapture can happen at any time.
But I’m Matt 24-25

I always feared that whenever I look outside, I’ll see a bright star growing bigger and bigger. I always feared something colliding with earth.

I don’t worry about it, when it’s time it’s time… but I do like the idea of prepping

Jesus said, “I will come like a thief in the night”…no man knows the end of the earth and I don’t worry about it…

This is why I avoid religion. This stuff is nothing to worry about, just scare tactics from bronze age priests trying to keep commoners in line and wanting to profit off fear. There are no End Times except those we create on our own.

The end is nigh! Run for the hills

Ps I’m in Portugal now and there is no prepping being done. People are too busy going to the beach and drinking wine

I remember my cousin used to watch those weird videos on youtube about the end times. Stuff about trumpets and some book. Meanwhile im just rolling my eyes lol.

Even tho my psychosis was started because i thought nukes were coming. Now i dont feel like it because im medicated.

I think much more important is to reconcile with our own mortality that is unavoidable and in a matter of a number of decades not eons. But it is fun to muse on how humanity would pop up in another way in another place when the light of all the stars go out.

All I know is if we kill our selves some of us will still survive. Or Well when the next organisms on earth evolve to humanoids they will be smarter because they could see how the earth messed up this last time. But I don’t think the end times are any time soon. I do believe that we would regenerate smarter and wiser from scratch. Even if 100 humans survived this apocalypse they could start over with the knowledge on how to better not to destroy the earth the next time.
