Okay, so I’m old…I still enjoy some board games.
I’ve been playing a lot of Scrabble lately with friends and family. Last game, my daughter scored a Bingo for 50 extra points by using all of her tiles in one turn. She spelled the word…“bureaus”. She is quite well-read and fun to play against.
So what are/ were some of your favourite board games?

I always enjoyed monopoly and card games like uno.
I must admit I had fun playing Apples to Apples…played a lot of Risk when I was a kid as well.
I only play scrabble. I can concentrate for one game, but that’s it.
My favorite is RoboRally. But I also really like Puerto Rico, SmallWorld, Tsuro, Mystery Express, Thunderstone… I really like board games.
I play a LOT of board and cardgames with my family…

When I was little I used to play mouse trap, hungry hungry hippos,sorry,chess oh and candyland
I play Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit when I want a board game…mostly I play farkle. but my rules I learned in college.
Anybody into strategy games?
I play catan, splendor and games of the like.
I like playing Scrabble, but not with Mrs. Pixel. She gets it into her head that she has to make a certain word and passes up all kinds of points until she pulls the tile that lets her spell it. In the meantime I’ve scored points off of her everywhere and she is calling me a “cheap shot artist”. Now I just play it on my tablet.
I used to like the “Game of Life”. And “Careers”. These days I mainly play Cribbage once a week at the Senior’s Circle.

When I get hospitalized I always look to find if they have battleship. It’s so easy to play and you can talk while you play it.
