One of my better memories of childhood is playing board games . Careers , Monopoly and Battleship are the ones I remember most.
My wife and I played Pass the pigs and Yahtzee a lot .

I played all those too except “Pass the pigs”. I never heard of that. Played a lot of chess as a kid.

I have been thinking about doing this with some friends. I bet I will thrash them at Monopoly.
I like board games too. I also like games like Catch Phrase
I am joining a board games group locally from meetup.com if I can get the courage to go

Yeah loved board games and rpgs. We played a lot of games growing up and for a long time played a regular game of dungeons and dragons and other rpgs. Still don’t mind the odd game of monopoly. There were others as well and even the original trivial pursuit wasn’t too bad.

I have vague memories of playing this.
When I was young in the late 80’s my grandparents had a board game called Careers. I wish I could find that game, Papa and I would play that a lot. And Yahtzee, which we play with the kids now, cause a quick game is like 30 mins with 5 people. I swear though, Kiefer can only throw Yahtzees, lol. And then Clue, but my kids aren’t really into that anymore. The hubby and kids play Yugioh card game, so that’s their thing.
I love Yu-Gi-Oh! I’m going to a Yu-Gi-Oh! Sneak peak on the 26th. It’s a game that really gets your brain thinking. I also have it on my Nintendo switch and I’ve put more than 100 hours into that game.
I love the boardgame Settlers From Catan, I have it plus some expansions, and if you have the expansions things get interesting.
Pandemic is also a fun game

We have so many games. We try to have an occasional board/card game night. My favorites are scattergories and headbands and apples to apples. We just got What do you meme?. Its hilarious and so inappropriate lol.
