Board games

Does anyone remember playing board games before computer games became so popular?
I remember playing Careers,Monopoly,Cluedo, Campaign and Scrabble. The first 3 as a family and the last two with my father and with my mother and father.
Some of my happiest family memories were playing board games.

I remember playing Monopoly with my childhood bestfriend back in the day. It was tons of fun. I also like taboo, I play that when I go to the board game cafe with my friends and I’m really good at that.

Checkers, chess, Monopoly, Clue, Scrabble.

Plus other indoor games … card games, ping pong, pool, and billiards.

I used to play board games too, fun times.

Air hockey is awesome…

I remember playing cribbage with my father. Later with my wife I played Yahtzee and Pass the pigs.

Those were big in my father’s side of the family. We learned to play bridge before puberty.

Yeah, board games were fun — monopoly, sorry, risk, chutes and ladders, life, and card games like rummy and canasta.

A lot of young adults still play board games, seriously, not ones like monopoly though.

Never liked em. As soon as I start losing I flip the board over and leave.

I went and brought a Monopoly game so I could play with one of my ex’s when we where living together. The augments we use to get into. Seems to just collect dust nowadays. Same with my other board games. Poleconomy, chess, Stratego.etc etc

The game of life was awesome…congratulations you just had twins…

People don’t play board games anymore? Maybe I should let the folks at my Settlers of Catan party know tomorrow.

Seriously, board games have gotten beyond awesome! Seven Wonders is insane, and Ticket To Ride is easy to pick up. My personal favorite is called Dicescapades. It has 100 dice and you use them all!

I’m a fan of yahtzee and monopoly.
