Yeah, I know how hard it is. My weight was getting out of control, but I managed to pull myself together. I was on 10mg zyprexa at the time. Had to start thinking twice about what I bought home from the store to eat. When I stopped buying snacks and junkfood I managed to drop weight. I also started working out about twice a week.

I would still like to get rid of 20 pounds. Guess I’m gonna have to start running again. Also cutting down on my alcohol free beer. Beer makes you gain weight and it also makes you hungry, a real bad combo Maybe I’ll make a new years resoultion to start running and cutting down on the beer.

Yes, forcing myself a lot and adding a big meal before bed I have been able to gain 7-8kg.
So now I weigh 63kg, I think that it is impossible to gain more weight for me on Latuda.

I put on 35 kilos on Olanzapine

Since 2015 I have refused any AP that either has weight gain as a main side effect or makes me fat.

Will not tolerate this ever again as it’s unacceptable

What negative symptoms? I have been staying in bed all day everyday only getting out of bed to eat for years. Are you the same? I thought you said you work.

At my heaviest i was 21 stone or 133kg in 2011 when i went on clozaril, i am now 13 stone 5lbs or 85kg, i now have a very strict diet , no junk food, now beer, excercise 2 hours daily with walks it can be done!

I eat healthy, my problem is that I stay in bed all day everyday. I wish I had the energy to exercise.

I’m fat. Topamax works, but made me sicker. Still recovering. Yesterday was a bad, hard day.
