These days my father suggested I’m a narcissist. I took some online tests about narcissism and it seems I’m not (despite I believe I have some degree of narcissism, which may be healthy and normal). I wonder why he said that to me, because it adds nothing to our relationship.

Well the fact that u admit that you’re overly interested in yourself kind of suggest you aren’t fully narcissistic, real narcissist can’t really see past their own flaws

Do you have the need to brag? Do you have a sense of entitlement? Where everybody should do things for you? Do you lack empathy towards others? Those ar narcissistic qualities. I knew somebody like that

Do you have the need to brag?
No. When I was an adolescent, I would brag a little, but in adult life, I stopped bragging at all to the point people don’t know I did something for them and they didn’t notice. But it doesn’t mean I don’t like recognition. I like to be recognized if I did hard work or something special for someone.
Do you have a sense of entitlement?
I think I don’t deserve a damn if I hadn’t put the hard work. Sometimes I do stuff for free for other people.
Where everybody should do things for you?
No one owes me nothing.
Do you lack empathy towards others?
Sometimes I cry if I feel someone suffered a lot.
Edit: it doesn’t mean I’m perfect. I do have flaws and sometimes I brag and have sense of entitlement. But I don’t think no way people should do things for me. I have empathy but I know people who have more.
I dont think your a narcissist then. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Yes. I still wonder why my father says such thing to me. It hurts and, considering he’s my father, I tend to trust him. If he suggests I’m a narcissist, I try to investigate this problem. Maybe I’m not a pathological narcissist, but there’s a trait of my narcissism which is bothering him.

Narcissists require “narcissistic supply” which means you have to pay attention to them a certain amount of time or they get angry and make things unpleasant for you. I don’t consider anybody without this trait a narcissist.

I have Aspergers been accused by incompetent therapist when younger of being a narcissist or in a past life.

Maybe. Maybe in this life too. Bad therapist. I lied because he said I only cared about myself and lacked possible empathy or something. I have Aspergers.
I have a hard time remembering. I am a possible time traveler. Not sure. I was in a past life. That and I constantly reincarnate. I’m stuck in a causal loop with alien tech and psychic abilities that resembles a time loop. I think anyways.

I don’t care if I’m a narcissist or not. I’m probably not. Never been diagnosed in a billion lifetimes or more. Just some stupid, degree mill, revolving door, money hungry, old therapist who never helped me as a kid. My dad is the narcissist at least. He’s a good person and I love him. He’s only been diagnosed with OCD. But he abused me and my mom a little.
My step-father on the other hand is probably a narcissist but he’s a changed person. He doesn’t talk much anymore. My brother even said he’s a narcissist. He’s a real Christian but comes off as a fake sometimes. I know he really believes that stuff though. They’re evangelicals. He used to lie all the time. Not as much anymore. When people age, they change. Seen it both times. The funny thing is my step-father has NEVER had therapy probably because he is a narcissist. I’ve had therapy a lot. They never brought it up at all. He refuses to go. Rather go down hill or turn to ■■■■ than get help or help others.
Out of a billion or trillion lifetimes, I only once or twice was diagnosed with anti social personality disorder. Probably because my psychiatrist was a ■■■■■ to me in a past life. Put me through MK-Ultra time travel program where I suffered thousands of times or more over and been through worse than hell. It was a government experiment in a parallel universe/past life. I volunteered for money. My life ended up being worth only $10 on average or something.
I don’t care what people think of me or not. In a past life, some guy from the military told me I had Aspergers and I think they are smarter than 99.9999% of the population. Furthermore, I was in ROTC in a past life a long time ago and they kicked me out for drinking energy drinks in college – said I had Aspergers. I thought they were joking because Aspergers is autism. I told them I had ADHD. I don’t think I have ADHD though.
Just because someone is a narcissist doesn’t make them a bad person. It’s the actions they do. Their behavior. I’m a nice guy. My personality changes constantly. I even thought I had multiple personality disorder in a past life. Not sure. Never diagnosed.
I’m constantly reincarnating. Came back alive in 2013 most likely. I usually die. I’m hoping things will be different. I know what I post. I’m scared a lot. Seen ■■■■ you guys cannot even comprehend.
A pdoc labeled me as narcissistic because for once italked about myself. Usually it’s all talking about my family. But just one time i talk about how i was affected by my illness and got labeled. It was just a 3 day hospital stay. Personality disorders take longer to be properly dx’d.

I used to tell my therapist I was a narcissist but she insisted I was asocial personality disorder instead.
Haven’t heard that label in a while tho. I think I’m just sza.
