Experiences with fish oil?

Hey guys I’m pretty sure we all want a solution to our schizophrenia, I have tried fish oil before in hope to ease my symptoms a bit and may be help my brain a lot , I never noticed any differences atleast for me but maybe it was working and I never noticed. Anybody here have stories about their experience with omega 3 or fish oil?

I was taking omega 3 vegan and I ran out for a while and my mood dipped so I am back in them. I read they are good for depression and anxiety

I think it’s helping mood. Especially important if not eating much seafood.

I take it to lower triglycerides

Makes no difference to my SZ but too much can give me the trots and keep me in the washroom.

Fish oil is really good. Just gotta be regular with it. A little bit every day.

I used to eat vegan/vegetarian and didn’t get any omega 3. I got mental stress from the medications, almost like mental akathisia, wanting to jump out of my mind, and when I started taking omega 3, the stress all went away. So I’m guessing the omega 3 have some important function in the body. If you don’t notice a difference, it may be because you get omega from fish, and have enough in your body to begin with.

Do you eat fish? Does that make you anxious?

Yes I do, and that doesn’t make me anxious.

It doesn’t really do much for me mentally or physically but I take it as prescribed by my doctor

It’s supposed to be healthy

I found my mood improved when I took it pre psychosis. I haven’t tried it for sz symptoms.

I like it. Everyone should take honestly.

I take omega 3 fish oils, not everyday but some days, a multi vitamin and sometimes magnesium.

I take it when I start getting head aches.
