Exercise, what do you do…

As the heading suggests what do you do to exercise?

I used to do cricket, athletics, kickboxing etc… but with sz I have only done kickboxing and carrying it on at home

Fast walking.
A few genuflexions and push-ups.
Stretching.

That’s about it. Not much but it’s honest work

Yeah I read on the net, that just getting your heart rate up can be enough… I’ve ran it past my gp but can’t remove what she said. That’s like 5-10mins per day of strenuous exercise!

Aerobic exercise is best for overall health. Some say interval training beats having a steady pace. Dunno…

I’m doing too little for my upper body and my core muscles. I also have belly fat :face_with_head_bandage:

I play table tennis in VR. Gets you moving especially with the more difficult AI opponents

I walk 5 miles every other day. I ride my ebike to appointments and I’m going to start swimming as soon as the pool reopens.

Walking, squats, some workouts with resistance bands, and VR exercises. Trying to get back into Tai Chi.

This morning, I attempted to repeat my own adaptation of something loosely based on the first two thirds of the Yang Long form of Tai Chi Chuan. I hope I can get back into doing something like it nearly every day again after about 24 years of not doing it very regularly.

I like to do 20 to 40 minutes of yoga, and 10 minutes of platform stepping on a regular basis for exercise.

I jog for about 25 minutes early every morning lately. Theres a nice pathway along a river where i live that i use. And i go for long walks every other day for appointments or shops or whatever. Thats about it. And ive been only eating heaps of veggies, meat and a bit of fruit. Lost 15 kilos (33lbs) in pretty short time. So happy to finally be losing weight.

I walk, lift weights or do body weight training in small amounts regularly. I also exercise my mind though, lately counting in my head in binary has become a staple of my routine, in the past I used to focus more on perceptual training, now I do that too but it’s taken a bit of a backseat.

I walk the track every Monday for about an hour. During the summer I walk outside every Monday for about an hour and sometimes on Thursdays for about an hour but I only do those things because I have to for groups with ACT. I hate walking the track because it’s boring and I hate walking in the summers because the lake stinks and it’s too hot and I sweat like a pig but never feel like showering when I get home.
