Is the old food pyramid that said to eat nine servings of pasta or whatever a day gone? Did they revise that? Because I just started my eighth bowl of spaghetti and I feel sick.
I am still not too good at making demo videos… but here is my app in action:
I don’t know what a serving of pasta is supposed to be but I know a serving of meat is supposed to be the size of the palm of your hand.
Yeah, it sounds like the ‘sixteen glasses of water a day’ thing. I tried that once and it about made me sick.
Spent all day yesterday scraping at and chipping away ice at work as it was slow and we had no deliveries. Slow day today and I had three hours to kill after parking the truck, so, more ice removal. I can currently feel muscles in my arms, legs, and back that I don’t think I ever remember having until now.
Ouch. Ow. DAMN.

Tomorrow morning’s goal: Ye olde aerobics step.

Could use a workout buddy.

I trying to lose weight, too. I want to lose 15lbs.
I walk for an hour, every day.
Food is a scary thing for me, though. It’s hard for me to eat some days, because it scares me. Then I eat too much because I’m so hungry from not eating. Bleh… Food is strange to me.
Hah. Put the work coveralls on this morning and got the zipper done up with less than the usual fight. Progress!

I finally worked out yesterday after months of nothing. It helped my mood and gave me hope… Count me in on this!!!
I’ve not been using the scale this year because I tend to obsess over it. I’ve been tracking calories on MyFitnessPal and making sure I exceed my exercise goals on my Fitbit. My work clothes are noticeably looser now, so I’m making progress. My next goal is to be able to cinch up the belt for my jeans by one notch.
How is everyone else doing?

Running is my answer to everything. Its the best and healthiest way to burn fat and carbs and speed up your metabolism long term. Just remember to start slow. I got my cousin into running when he was well over weight mabey 8 months ago. Now he can run up to 1.5 hours nonstop on a good day and he looks great.
Also try to focus on just eating more healthy food and less about how many calories you eat. Just a slightly different way of thinking but it’s a but less intimidating and makes sure tou are still nutritionally sound.
Also try not to do things to drastic. I know it sucks to do things slowley but takeing things slow ensure that you don’t just scare your metabolism into thinking your starving yourself, wich will actually slow your metabolism.
Leg day in t minus 30 minutes
If I survive I will report back. Maybe a burrito or sandwich is in order after it.
Already smoked a cig and a half today. Dam cigarettes.
Arthritic knees and heart condition. I can go for a hike, but never a run unfortunately. I think the trick is to be as active as you can be.

I need to lose some weight. To many biscuits, chocolates and coco’s lately.
Oddly cold… I love the rain… I love the cold… but this is colder then I’m used to.
Even my wet suit didn’t keep me warm.

I’ll be swimming inside for a little while longer.
Has anybody who experienced weight gain due their meds been able to lose a significant amount of it through a good diet and exercise? I just want to know if it’s possible or am I stuck with this excess weight with no hope of losing it? Has anybody succeeded in doing it without actually starving themselves? Will find it motivational if someone has done it. I’ve started a diet and exercise plan, but the last few times I tried going to the gym, I ended up gaining even more weight. Hopefully things work out better this time. Not seeing any results really hurts the motivation.
You should try calorie counting. Me, @shutterbug and @everhopeful are losing weight calorie counting.

Uh, not doing stellar at the moment.
Sorry to hear that. What other choices are you trying?
Working long hours and not enough time or energy left to worry about diet
