I like that too, free playing it. Having fun and being regular keeps the goal to go alive.

It’s awesome you were able to quit smoking!

Thinking I should do more leg exercises. Wishing I still had a squat rack.

What leg exercises do you do?

I only have dumbbells for squats right now. No other equipment here, so not sure what I can do.

Thinking I may need to get a gym membership.

A gym membership would be easier tbh. You can still do lunges and bulgarian split squats.

I would do some sort of hip hinge movement like romanian deadlift as well

I feel like being inside a gym makes me work out seriously, I don’t have the mindset to take it seriously at home (I’ve got dumbbells at home too)

No way bro! I would be so happy with a proper home gym lol

No that’s what I mean, a gym feels like the correct environment (doing lifts in my bedroom tho feels random lol)

Yeah, I’ll sleep at some point and then head out (I haven’t slept in a while so I don’t want to risk injury hehe)

So here’s the question: do I join a gym and stop yoga class? A gym I can go anytime and is a lot less expensive. Yoga class feels great but limited in time. People don’t really interact at yoga, which is part of the reason I started going… to meet people.

I’ve been doing some dumbbell workouts at home and going for walks around the football oval

I am really concerned with my fitness. I basically have never been physically active (other than one year at the gym in 2022). I am having issues where my back keeps feeling misaligned. I did some stretches just now on my upper body and even just moving my arms from my waist to above my head slowly for a 10 reps or so makes me feel so tired and exhausted. I would really like to get on a fitness program but I feel like I am so unfit that is really hard to begin.

I haven’t slept enough yet, only managed one hour. Did have late lunch about 2hrs ago. So I just need to sleep a bit at some point then I’ll head for my first session returning to the gym since two years now.

Beginning is the hardest bit. But you can always takes slow steps which makes it much easier

Take it easy, just a little bit at a time. Some push ups and exercises like that a a good way to start. Do some each day and in a few months, a year… you will have gone a long way in a short while. A year will pass one way or another.

A chiropractor can fix a back which feels off. I go sometimes.

I’ve been jogging about 4 times a week right now only about 1.5-2.5 miles at the moment. I’m training for a 5k in September

What you are doing is pretty good! Even just a half hour is worth it. A lot of my workouts are not even that long. I prolly should do some cardio
