It should have effect, but I guess depends on meds and also the amount of sport you do. Best way is to try it the best you can.
I realized the longer I walk the better I feel.
Exercise has a tremendously effect on negatives and cognitives I red on the internet. Just to keep my body functioning I’ve begun walking 1 km each day on my threadmill. Doesn’t work mentally but keeps my body ajour.
I take 8-9mg abilify (10mg gives me akathisia). i have been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder
If i do a session of HIIT 45-75min on the bike with ~150mg of caffeine, then afterwards i have a lot of energy to do things (like cleaning or other things)… it seems to help me with avolition for about ~5-6 hours.
I have to say that i am not a daily coffee drinker, i drink coffee 2-3 times a week with exercise
in my experience coffee (milk coffee) + multivitamin makes exercise more enjoyable
I continue the good work by walking one mile aday. 20 years I quit alcohol and considering to quit smoking cigarets. Never did pot or anything stronger.
Keep away from alcohol and pot they are a bad mixture with the meds.
I’v lowered my ciggs intake to one packet a day and will try to quit soon.
Bad food or cigarets ain’t adviceble for anyone

i am on Zwift and do 2-4x 8-10min at 88-90% of my maximal heart rate …
but one has to be well trained to try it

before i was schizophrenic i enjoyed also going out, eating some pizza with friends and so on but now …

i told this and that i am often depressed to my psychiatrist, he said, that i should try sulpiride … i am trying it now for 1 week … i am less depressed and less lethargic (i am also sometimea very lethargic) and more talkative as you see but socialising is still very boring;
Yes it can help. We must have a balanced amount tho. Too little exercise is bad for us so it too much. I’d say 30 minutes to a few hours a day is good.
I agree, too much isn’t very helpful. I love 30-45minutes in the morning before work. Gym, cycling, swimming or slow running … with some caffeine … gives me energy and a good mood during first part of the day. Also my brain works better.
