I thought if the bike was nice and light it would be just as good as an ebike only without the battery?
I bought an ebike but i might send it back and I’m not sure if a battery is entirely necessary now.

Depends what your doing with it. If your just cruising around town for fun you probably could just use a regular bike

I prefer the feel of a regular bike but I use my e-bike most often for commuting and taking rides in my hilly area. If I didn’t have it, I wouldn’t bike nearly as often as I do.

I just got an ebike for mountain biking. Its kinda like buying motivation lol. And i can do rides i normally would struggle to do on a regular bike. Also can keep up with fitter friends

Things with bikes are moving along faster than we first thought. The bike has been around for years. But not the light weightness of the bikes with the electrical equipment it takes. I find that e bikes are somewhat dangerous in the city. Fun to ride in the country. And some profit could be made from repairing such things. Remember you can’t have one without the other.

I did 17 miles in one day recently but it was split into parts, I’m starting to think i could do the journey in a light carbon fibre bike but it would require a little more effort.
I see the health benefits of that with getting more exercise and increasing my fitness, but another thing is my fatigue & its been pretty good lately but idk how increasing exercise will affect it. Then we have the changing seasons.
I might keep the bike i have and hopefully they send me out a better battery for it. my pal thinks I’ve bought a bad bike but i could live with it. the brakes are really crap as well.

If its very hilly then ebike is a better buy, the tracks i’ve been going along seem pretty ok with only a few short steep parts but most of it is level.
