Mountain bike ■■■■ the roads
I have a hybrid bike it’s half and half
a hover board.
take care
Thanks for the input guys/gals …
Hard to say without knowing more about circumstances. Where do you live? How far do you go? Etc.
In an ideal world we’d all have one of these:
Pixel.
Mouse, if you enjoy biking off road I highly recommend investing in a proper Mtn bike. There is nothing like bombing a good single track. I’ve owned many from $200-$3500.
I can point you to a good entry level if you are interested. 29">26".
Ditto. I speak bike so lemme know. The most important part for the serious novice is fit. You can dump loads of cash on a high end bike but if you aren’t comfortable chances are you wont want to ride.
I speak bike and fit also. …im in rapid city sd…
I ride a Trek 7.7 now. Sold my Gary Fisher full squish before I moved out of the mountainside. I miss riding trails. Have you seen Budnitz’s bikes yet? Sick!
What kits and roadies are ya looking at @petester?
I chose the Trek for the handlebar/shifting configuration. Light as hell too.
Road bike get a hybrid you will like it!
Good luck!
I have an old “Rock Hopper” bike bought in 1986…still rides as good as the first day.
I prefer my Yamaha TW 200 for around town, it uses gasoline.
Yeah I really enjoy finding a older bike in great condition? Some folks bought a bike 20 yrs ago then put it in the garage and never touched it.
Not saying you did that im just saying that I love finding older bikes.
Get something that runs on Gas, you don’t want to be half way home then your battery runs out. I seen that happen to somebody recently. Someone came in a car to pick them up but they looked confused on how to fit the bike into the car.
Yes A Hover Bike. thay are so cool… I have a three wheel electric bike for show, and I loss to many friends on motor bikes it an’t funny. so play it safe and get a new mobility car off your ins company. look it up and drive safe.
Yeah, I did just that. Actually, WE did just that.
My (ex)husband bought them after we got married with the intention of some outdoor fun…yeah ok.
They sat - more like hung upside down for the next ? 20-25 years, only riding them together 2 times!
Next year marks the 30th year I’ve had them, looks brand new.
In the year we split up, I’ve put a lot of miles on them, I do love to ride them around finding neat stuff on the ground.
Riding feels great.
I bought a used bike for 100$, or so I thougt. It was apparently a adolescent bike, which was too small for my 6 2 frame. It got the job done, but when I tried riding it for 15 miles up and down hill, I was completely exhausted at the end.
Yep at 6’2" you need a XL bike man,im maybe 6" in boots and im riding a XL Breezer.
I don’t like bikes that fit me because it feels like im riding a kids bike.
Moped if you live in moderate climate. You can get okay road bike from police sale or storage unit sale…Just know the good brands.
