Dwelling in resentment

yeah but I am so freakin lazy so 3 x a week for 30 minutes is like already tough for me.

Compared to the general population you are not lazy.
A lot of people don’t hit the gym at all.
So you already deserve praise for going to the gym.
Perhaps some day you will manage to increase the duration…(to Cherie)

I feel resentful sometimes too. Some of us have legitimately had a tough go of it, and I am one of them. Neither one of my parents were qualified to be parents and that was the start of a very tough life. My mother (a heroin addict) is long dead and I am still extremely resentful toward my abusive, neglectful, alcoholic father. The world wasn’t very empathetic either. Anyway, I find that school can be very distracting (in a good way). Once I get myself going on homework, I can usually get into it. I also am able to build positive memories and experiences with my 2 kids and my best friend. It really does help to drown out some of the abuse. Good for you for working out. That can never be a bad thing  I keep promising myself I am going to go to the gym. I need to plan for it and then stick to my plan. I hope you continue to feel better.

Try and have a shower and go for a walk. It will feel like pushing through a giant brick wall but you will feel 1000% better I promise.
