My clinical assessment included seconday symptoms of PTSD, I keep myself occupied and I make good memories to contrast the hell I went through. Life still isn’t exactly easy, but I am not as tormented these days. I have found my niche in life in school, I am passionate about psychology and also quite good at it, pursuing it keeps me from wallowing in the past. I also stay socially active, I have been dating a girl for a while so I’m in the same boat as to what you mentioned.
Sounds like therapy could really benefit you. You know, I’m actually working in psychotherapy research in school and I’m also a patient. It can do wonders.
