I chose “relaxation therapy” but I have music on all the time. It seems to keep bad thoughts away.
I feel this way, too. I don’t have music on all the time, but I often use it to keep bad thoughts away.
I usually listen to metal to calm me down, then I listen to it to pump me up for weight lifting. I guess it can serve two purposes.
It helps me get through my bike ride and also relaxes me.
Music stresses me out. I don’t like it.
Music is like a friend to me, i listen for hours everyday
I don’t listen to it as much as I used to, I flip flop between loving it and wanting silence.
I use it to relax and when I’m driving
I play music to make me happy. It works well. Music is in my blood and my DNA. When I’m not playing music, I listen to the jukebox in my head. I also create music. Music is a vital part of me.
I probably use it 75% of the time I’m awake. It does everything for me
I wish I could select more than one.
I use it for relaxation, stimulation, keeping noise out, distraction, and a means of raising my dopamine levels when I feel low.
I use it for exercise aswell as relaxation. I don’t think I can exercise without music
I just like music.
I use it to drown sounds of the public out when i am out and about.
Also, i use it as a relaxer or just to put me into a better mood.
I disslike listening to music since my psychosis. Well I’ve listen to music as a schizophrenic but it is just every couple days or weeks. It’s not possible to not listen to music, it even runs on tv. And I don’t like the direction of german rap nowadays. So I also listen to metal. I remember when I got the internet and started playing online, I always had some music turned on while playing. I guess everything gets old after a while.
I listen to music to relax and to exercise and to drown out voices if I hear them
I only listen to music occasionally but I listen every day. I like classical instrumental. I don’t exercise to music though.
I like most Christian music. Its encouraging and gets my vibe going. Sometimes I used to hear it and I’d get all jealous of the performers and what they said. Now its all about “yes, Jesus”.
