Now that I am selling prints of my art for extra money I really have no need to paint art anymore…maybe one day…I don’t feel it anymore…it stresses me out too…a lot. don’t really enjoy it anymore.
Giving up is not compatible with success.
If you need to take a break do it. But i wouldnt be so quick to say youll never do it again just because youre not enjoying it at this moment
Money or no I can’t stop using my camera. It’s how my soul breathes.
@anon4362788 yes you’re right…I just don’t want to paint at the moment…sometimes I crave the process so it’s probably not over yet…I still have many years hopefully left to pick it up again…but for the distant future right now I don’t have the willpower…thanks…
@shutterbug maybe a new hobby is in order…i feel burnt out…I still would love to do leathercraft and now that I will have extra money from selling prints maybe I could finally do that…

I enjoy the banjo and bass but I too go through times when I am not feeling it.
It is okay to take a break. Keep all of your supplies but sometimes a brief break can make you stronger in what ever artistic endeavor you are involved in.
