I put kind of a bummer of a post about how I haven’t painted in two years. I used to be a professional artist at one time. Anyways, we’ve been too broke for art supplies for a while now anyways but I really lost the will to paint anymore…then Angie’s sister asked me to paint her something. Her sister has been fighting cancer for a long time and is currently having a blockage in her intestines that she has to go through a procedure for any day. I had to say Yes. At first I thought “aw crap, I have to paint” but then I started thinking about it and a new hope blossomed out of it. She is paying for the supplies and she sent me a really cool tree photo with lots of birch trees and pine trees behind them with snow on them…should be pretty easy to do and I can’t wait to start painting.!
oh that’s awesome, and just think what it will mean to her.
yes it’s a spirtual hope I have now doing the painting…it was a gift and I always thought of it that way…I was just uninspired. thank you @Leaf
glad to hear you had a change of heart so quickly.
Isn’t that amazing??? I don’t believe how happy I am now…I doubt I will continue painting after I do the commission but maybe doing her photo will rub off.
I think doing that painting is very kind of you.
Congrats on finding your artistic muse again, @jukebox.
I’m eagerly awaiting an updated photo of this amazing painting. I’m so happy you’ve been inspired again
Good for you. I hope it leads to more painting for you. It is good to have a creative outlet and sounds a worthy cause!
thanks guys… @StripedShirtBoy I don’t have photo capability. all I have is words to describe the painting. I’m sorry. I would love to show the finished piece.
@Montezuma thanks I feel good doing it for her. She’s a sweet person and I love her very much.
