Don't tattoo your eyeballs!

Ridiculous.
Why on earth would one tattoo their eyeballs?
Didn’t it hurt?

Some people do it. With huge risk involved!

It’s not even aesthetically beautiful!

No! Omg, no.
I’ve watched some insane surgeries, but eye stuff creeps me right the heck out.

If people start tattooing their brains, are they still delicious to zombies?

People take tattooing so darned far. It shouldn’t be such a huge health risk.

Can I still tattoo eyeballs that aren’t mine?

Why not just get colored contacts?

It depends on the person. Some are like a good prime rib, others, especially with eye tatts, are gamey.

The people who do this aren’t exactly our best and brightest.

Going from what the article said, and seeing her massive amount of body modifications, I think she must be mentally unwell. I feel bad for her.

I generally enjoy seeing people who do more taboo body mods, such as a split tongue and horn implants. With that being said, tattooing eyeballs has to be one of the most shortsighted (lol) body mods that someone can do. I have a problem with it because it can be done so impulsively as compared to other extreme mods that require more forethought and commitment to the modification lifestyle. This is a very serious form of body modification that rivals the dude who got his nose cut off to look like an orc. In fact, this is riskier as well as more accessible. A very bad combination.

EDIT: After reading the article I see that she is a bit more in the body mod game. The fact that she is going blind and would still go back in time and tattoo one of her eyes is a wee bit alarming. I try not to judge the body mod groups, and generally enjoy seeing their commitment to their art, but even I’m a bit conflicted here. Don’t mess with the eyes man.

Haha. What did she expect. Darwinism at its finest.

What’s wrong with coloured contact lenses - if you want to be edgy.
