She hasn’t called for our last 6 phone appointments, I’ve called her several times and she won’t return my calls. It’s kind of a chickensh*t thing for her to be doing. At least have the courtesy to tell me why you don’t want to talk to me. I left my last message 5 minutes ago and said I want to know what’s going on. She probably won’t answer.

I was due for a call from my Psychiatrist over a month ago, but he bailed. I left a message with his Office to phone me…nothing so far.

6 no call no shows is a very good reason to fire her. Sounds like she may have dropped you as a client anyway. I’m sorry you got a chickshit therapist. It’s common decency to at least call. Did either of you get a new number?
Also check your insurance and make sure she did not bill you for the appointments missed.

My last therapist was a waste product
She dropped me like a hot potato
No warning at all.
She just ghosted me.
I was in the process of leaving her anyway but that’s besides the point.

If she’s sick or on vacation she always says so on her voicemail message. When I called her voicemail it didn’t say anything about being sick or on vacation.

Does she have a secretary or someone who changes her voicemail messages for her?

She’s just a therapist at a clinic; she doesn’t have her own secretary. When she leaves a message on her voicemail it is always her voice so I assume she takes care of her own calls.

In that case, call the general number for the clinic and tell them what’s going on.
