My therapist said she would get back to me after checking her schedule and she disappeared and hasn’t replied back. It’s been a week. I’m not sure what happened to her. Do I keep waiting or do I just message her? I hope she didn’t quit on me.

I’ve had unprofessional therapists before.
1 just didn’t respond to my messages anymore.

Yeesh. That sucks. I’ve been ghosted once (he’s dragging it on… 11 years, the ■■■■■■■), but they usually just write letters breaking up with me. A therapist is different, though. You share very intimate details of your life and thoughts. Having them drop contact would be the worst. I agree with the others- you have nothing to lose by trying another message. I hope it works out.

My last therapist was a big ■■■■■
She ghosted me
But I was going to leave her anyway
She was a waste of time

She may have gotten distracted and forgotten. It happens when you’re overwhelmed at work. I recommend sending a polite follow-up message.

Today is a holiday in SK so I need to wait until tomorrow. I hope she didn’t quit on me because therapy was helping a lot.

Yeah they’re not in touch with me either. I’m not happy about this as I was looking forward to the next session. As of right now I can’t book an appt without her letting me know what date works for her.

It sounds like something is going on in her life, Perhaps.
Hopefully you can arrange a date that works for her but also you.

My therapist called me today and said she’s quitting. So she’s passing me to a different person.
I hope the centre doesn’t quit on me.
