Hi my pdoc doesn’t want to put me on it. I really would like some feed back please. I’m on lexamil now .
it doesnt bug mine, just makes me feel a bit perkier and more motivated

It made my delusions 20x worse and I had more scary hallucinations. I hate wellbutrin though so I’m kinda biased.

It didn’t bother me or cause more positive symptoms when I took it. My sister tried it for like two days though to help her quit smoking and she seriously freaked out. It depends on the person. It could go either way for you.

Do NOT take Wellbutrin if you are SZ/SZA. My idiot psychiatrist (first one) put me on it and told me to “try it out”. Me, being the idiot I am, did not do any research and blindly agreed. Short story short, I ended up back in the hospital in 2 days.

I was on Wellbutrin for over 6 years and I’m sz, didnt make my symptoms worse even a tiny bit.
I quit it 2 days ago because I no longer need it and it was causing tinnitus which wasn’t a problem when I started but became increasingly worse over the years.
Some people who have sz can’t take it but for me it was worth the risk. It helped my motivation a lot during those years.

I’ve been on Wellbutrin 100 x 2 daily for a long time. I didn’t think I needed it until I had to do without it. Coming off Wellbutrin was tougher than expected. Out of curiosity, I asked my pdoc to increase my dose to 200 x 2 daily. I got pretty spooky. I felt like I was on the verge of major hallucinations. I was afraid my brain was fixing to spin out of control. I got back on my previous dose, and everything was fine.

I tried taking it and almost immediately got suicidal. It’s definitely not one for me. I have sza.

It may have made mine worse but I am not entirely sure as there were too many other variables at the time that could have also been making my symptoms worse.
Oh fun note though-Wellbutrin helps cancel out the sexual side effects of other meds. So if you’re on a med that doesn’t let you orgasm for example Wellbutrin may be able to give you that ability back. Did so for me anyways.
