Does this help really?

I was really exhausted with choices to make when i had issues with myself for past several months. But recently i found a technique that is “Clenched fist”. It is said that the cognition will improve with clenched fist. I tried that and found certain difference. Does anyone know if it really helps in the long run?

The placebo effect is very real. If it works for you then that is the question. If you feel it helping then continue. It won’t replace meds or other things but if you feel a difference then continue!

Actually this is know to help. Systematic tightening of the muscles. Can help some find relief. Cause it helps the body relax.

It’s mainly used to help with anxiety and grounding. I use it a lot when I’m trying to calm down from nightmares.

Yeah I do this when I am angry at someone and I can’t hit them.

I think about all the things I hate about them and I allow myself to be angry and clench my fists really hard and growel.

I am about to leave house. But I have my wedding/engagement ring or my James Avery butterfly rings I play with to keep my temper in check. Clenching my fist make me the opposite it makes my blood boil and feel like shredding people apart.

This works especially well if you have those stress balls at hand.
