Does the concept of the food chain freak anyone else out?

I think its important for the public to demand changes of animal cruelty in factory farming. Nothing more. Just as humans who can problem solve. Figure out a way to eat meat more humanely.

If it takes a century let it be.
But awareness and admitting that factory farms are brutal.
Not denying anyone of eating animals.

And you don’t have to kill animals in order to live with them…some societies farm animals for milk only, and not in factory situations like how it would be done in some countries.

it makes me what to make the best out of life. i dont feel bad for animals i eat because they are dead now. i dont eat beef often. i hear its hard to digest. and we get milk from them. not working i have so much time! i feel i should use it wisely. when i couldnt do anything for over ten years it sucked and nobody seemed to understand and no one was able to advise me on what to do.

Factory farming of live protein and intensive farming of land has helped food production keep up with population growth. We can get rid of factory farming and all of the genetically modified foods, but that means a lot of people will starve. Especially vulnerable people. Like 90% of the people in this community who will no longer be able to afford groceries that are suddenly 5x expensive or more. Think the recent inflation is bad? You ain’t seen nothing.

I guess they fear for a long time trying to escape and if the hunter misses a shot only injuring……

Yeah better not kill at all or as little as possible.

Why do humans have morals and animals don’t? always wondered why…

I am not calling to stop factory farming.

I am saying factory farming corporations need to invest into R&D to make changes that would reduce animal suffering. (I won’t go into how much suffering is involved - its easy to find on the internet).

Just like any other manufacturing company, like apple making changes to invest in Green Energy for the future - its a long term investment.

Factory farms can look into how future farming can be more humane. Start slowly and eventually make changes for the better.

Maybe someday we can genetically engineer ourselves to where we can get the energy we need by having chlorophyl in our bodies so we can get energy from the sun. Until then we have to consume other life to survive, though I don’t know if plants really mind being eaten.

Also, massive amounts of concentrated animal waste poisons the water, so that fish are wiped out and the whole ecosystem dies.

Yes, many corporations only worry about the next quarter profits.

Human beings are not nearly as moral as you think.
