Im worried it does i have been eating alot of it recently
I think it does. I got an ice Capp yesterday and I had bad anxiety afterwards. Idk. Could be coincidence.
I did try something similar to the slow carb diet years ago, and I did notice a reduction in anxiety. Basically carbs with low glycemic index, fat and protein.
Probably. Especially pure sugar that you add to things yourself. I feel tired and sluggish when i have lots of sugar.
Ive cut out sugar for the last few weeks. Feels better. And ive lost about 9 kilos. Which is about 19 pounds i think? But im also eating less food too. And was jogging for a couple weeks until my knee got sore. Waiting for it to heal to get running again.
I don’t think it does unless you take it regularly and then stop.
I sometimes feel jittery if I 've consumed something with lots of sugar and then my blood g!ucose eventually drops back down. It feels similar to anxiety symptoms.
Yes eating a lot of refined sugar products causes me anxiety.
Because I know it’s not ideal for my body, long term
So my brain feels guilty…
Excess sugar consumption can be toxic
I wouldn’t say it causes anxiety but it can certainly exasperate symptoms of anxiety. Process sugar causes a rush and a fall afterwards which can cause mental instability. Also eating unhealthy in general can make you feel like poop. Going up and down and up and down can make you feel on edge as well.
I need to do this again. I felt much better when I stopped consuming sugary sweet foods. The sugar cravings stopped after just a few days.
But then after six months or so, I ate something sweet again and I fell back into bad habits of eating sugary foods more than I should.
Yeah it sucks ay. Like why does sweetness need to also be a drug? Cant it just be the flavour without being unhealthy for mind and body? Im sure there are alternatives.
here’s something…lickable wall paper…lick an orange, it tastes like an orange…like a cherry it tastes like a cherry…like a shnozberry, it tastes like a shnozberry…"what’s this Wonka? Shnozberries? " I recite this to my boss in text sometimes and it cracks him up. I call him Wonka and this sugary thread just reminded me of it.
For me, sugar causes high blood sugar which causes anxiety.
Not trying to scare anybody but eating too much sugar causes diabetes
